CHAPTER 6 . What Is The Most Effective Way To Improve Child Behavior? The most effective way to curb children’s behavior is to teach children to manage their own behavior, of course. Teaching children critical thinking and the value of making good choices, will help them make good choices when on their own. It should also launch them into a life of good choices. Choices driven by smart thinking, not fears or emotions. Giving children a chance to cooperate, an opportunity to ask questions, to understand and to be involved in their own education, is the most respect you can give them. Respect builds trust and commitment to agreements.

CHAPTER 5 . What Makes A Healthy Parent? Before looking to change anyone else, we first need to take a long and honest look in the mirror. Who are you? How do you compare to whom you’d like to be? How well maintained are you? Honest answers to these questions should give us enough perspective to approach our subject with sensitivity, understanding and compassion.

CHAPTER 4 . How Do Personality Types Affect Parent-Child Relationships? Personalities can be observed in children by the age of three. A lot can change in terms of attitudes, behaviors and fears, but essentially, personality will not change. Getting to know our children’s personalities helps us determine what makes them tick; what makes them happy, curious or excited.
